Click the Materials Manager icon
The Materials Manager opens.
Click Application to view all the available OpenBuildings Designer constructions and materials.
Application constructions and materials are
read only. This is denoted by a lock icon next to each entry.
Select a calculation method from the Calculation Types drop-down
list to use for computing the constructions and materials thermal properties
that are displayed on the
Materials Manager.
Open the Constructions tab.
Select a construction and right click
A pop-up menu appears.
Select Copy to project.
The Copy
construction to project dialog box opens. Keep the currently selected
constructions category, and type in a name for the copied construction.
Click OK.
The construction is copied to the project.
Click Project to view the copy. Because the construction is now a project
definition, it is read writable. You can edit any of its properties, and save
the edits for use throughout the project.
Repeat the steps to add more constructions to your project.
